Vaesen No.203 Germination / Soak Seed is a carefully selected blend designed for soaking and sprouting, providing highly digestible, nutrient-rich feed for finches, canaries and other seed-eating birds. When germinated, seeds increase in available vitamins, enzymes and natural nutrients, making this mix ideal during breeding, moulting and conditioning periods.
This balanced combination of oil seeds, grains and pulses supports strong growth, vitality and feather quality, while encouraging natural feeding behaviour.

Preparation & Feeding Instructions
To Soak & Germinate:

Soak seeds in cold water for 24 hours.

Rinse thoroughly in a sieve with fresh cold water.

Leave in the sieve for a further 24 hours, allowing excess water to drain.

Rinse again with fresh cold water.
Seeds should begin to germinate within 48 hours when kept in warm conditions between 18–20°C.
Feeding Guidelines:

Offer fresh germinated seed daily during breeding, moulting or conditioning.

Remove any uneaten seed after a few hours to prevent spoilage.

Always maintain clean preparation equipment and good hygiene.
